
Salford Youth Zone
Matic Building Services was engaged to contribute to the Salford Youth Zone project by facilitating the design, procurement, and installation of a state-of-the-art roof-mounted Solar PV system. This landmark community project is a collaboration between Fred Done, Salford City Council, and HideOut Youth Zone, being delivered by Domis Construction.
Solar PV System Overview
The Solar PV system for the Salford Youth Zone includes:
96 Tier 1 Longi 530W black frame modules mounted on a Van Der Valk East/West L10 ballasted system.
Solis 50kW inverter with AC and DC isolation housed in the first-floor plant room.
Containment provided via black-lidded Pemsa basket for a seamless, durable finish.
This cutting-edge system is projected to generate approximately 43,618 kWh of renewable energy annually, reducing carbon emissions by 7,324 kg CO2 per year.
