Matic Building Services is pleased to confirm its appointment to deliver the ongoing planned and reactive maintenance services at Salford Youth Zone, on behalf of OnSide Youth Zones.
The maintenance programme covers a comprehensive range of electrical, mechanical, fire and security systems, ensuring the facility remains safe, compliant and fully operational for the thousands of young people who use it each year. Planned maintenance activities are scheduled across monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual and five-yearly intervals, alongside responsive support as required.
The scope of services includes the inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical distribution boards, internal and emergency lighting, IT and data infrastructure, electric vehicle charging equipment, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, induction loops and public address systems. In addition, Matic is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of fire detection, security systems and mechanical services, supporting the safe operation of high-occupancy spaces such as sports halls, activity areas and community facilities.
By delivering a structured and proactive maintenance regime, Matic Building Services is supporting OnSide’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and reliable environment for young people across Salford. The appointment reflects Matic’s expertise in maintaining complex public and community facilities, and its ongoing commitment to long-term partnerships within the education, leisure and youth sectors.
