Matic Building Services was delighted to attend the recent groundbreaking ceremony for Nobu Manchester, marking the official start of a landmark project that will redefine the city’s skyline. Matic has been appointed to deliver the full mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and consultancy package for the development.
Set to become the tallest building outside of London, Nobu Manchester represents a major milestone for the city and a prestigious addition to the UK’s hospitality and residential landscape. Matic is proud to be working in partnership with Domis Group and client Nobu Hospitality, contributing specialist engineering expertise to this world-class scheme.
Upon completion, the development will rise to 246 metres across 76 storeys, comprising 452 high-quality residential apartments and a 160-room luxury hotel. The scheme will also feature signature Nobu dining, alongside a range of premium leisure and lifestyle amenities designed to deliver an exceptional living and hospitality experience.
With construction scheduled to commence next year, Matic Building Services will be supporting the project from the earliest design stages through to delivery, ensuring robust, efficient and future-ready M&E solutions befitting a development of this scale and complexity.
