Matic Building Services delivered the mechanical and electrical installation throughout the apartments, supporting a premium living environment with carefully integrated building services. Each home benefits from reliable heating, ventilation and electrical systems, designed to provide year-round comfort, efficiency and ease of use while complementing the architectural and interior design.
The apartment services are fully integrated with the wider building infrastructure, ensuring consistent performance, safety and long-term reliability across the development. Matic Building Services delivered a comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering solution at Viadux, supporting the scale and complexity of this landmark residential development. Our works included the installation of incoming electrical and water supplies, LV switchgear, and full riser and distribution infrastructure, providing robust and resilient core services throughout the building. A complete Building Network Operator (BNO) installation was also delivered to support modern connectivity requirements across all apartments.
The mechanical and life safety scope incorporated water mains distribution, automatic sprinkler systems, wet risers, and boosted cold water (BCW) storage tanks, forming a fully integrated fire and domestic water strategy. Ventilation systems included the installation of air handling units (AHUs), ductwork distribution and fire dampers, alongside gas boiler plant to support heating and hot water services. All systems were coordinated to meet performance, safety and compliance requirements.
Resilience and sustainability were key considerations within the engineering delivery. Matic installed a back-up generator and dedicated life safety power supplies to support critical systems in the event of mains failure, alongside an integrated Building Management System (BMS) to monitor and control building services. The engineering scope was completed with EV charging infrastructure and a solar PV installation, supporting low-carbon operation and future-ready living at Viadux.
Matic Building Services delivered the mechanical and electrical services supporting the extensive sports and leisure facilities at Viadux, helping create premium resident amenities that enhance wellbeing, comfort and lifestyle. The development includes a fully equipped gym, spin studio, and dedicated sauna and wellness areas, all supported by carefully designed environmental control, lighting and power systems to ensure consistent performance and user comfort.
The leisure offering is further enhanced by a swimming pool and jacuzzi, with associated changing and shower facilities, requiring specialist mechanical installations to manage ventilation, humidity control, water treatment and safety systems. These facilities are designed to operate efficiently while maintaining a high-quality environment suitable for continuous resident use.
In addition, Matic delivered building services to a range of social and entertainment spaces, including a cinema room and karaoke room, where lighting, power, ventilation and acoustic considerations were carefully coordinated. Together, these installations support a vibrant, hotel-style leisure experience, underpinned by robust and reliable engineering solutions integrated seamlessly within the wider Viadux development.
