Financial Year 2025: A Year of Growth, Delivery and Momentum at Matic.

As Financial Year 2025 comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the pace of delivery and the scale of progress achieved by the team at Matic.

Installing the equivalent length of cabling from Manchester to Newcastle takes more than good planning, it takes strategy, it takes leadership and most of all, it takes a team you can rely on. This year, we’ve been fortunate to have exactly that, both on site and in the office.

2025/26 projects in numbers

Across our live programmes, Matic has delivered at significant scale, handing over 1,823 units and installing the building services infrastructure that powers safe, compliant and high-performing environments:

  • 75,000m of drainage pipework completed
  • 55,000m of containment installed
  • 50,000m of sprinkler pipework installed
  • 60,000m of ventilation ductwork installed
  • 195,000m of cabling installed
  • 32,000m of FP cabling installed

Progress has flown across the North over the past year, from Fusion Manchester’s 509-unit student epicentre, to the record refurbishment at Rylands, and the legacy-defining start of Leeds Urban Village. Alongside these major schemes, our teams have continued to deliver on complex projects at every scale, including luxury private residences where detail and finish matter just as much as programme.

New services, launched and already delivering

This year also marked Matic’s continued growth in capability across our projects, with expanded service streams now actively delivering strong results across multiple sites:

  • Temporary site services
  • Fire & security systems
  • Renewable energies

We’ve also strengthened assurance through new accreditations, including BSA: Higher Risk Buildings, demonstrating advanced competence, compliance and confidence in delivering safe high-rise environments.

The bigger picture

Most of all, we’re proud to be contributing to genuine growth across Manchester and the wider region, now home to an economy that has passed the £100bn mark in gross value added (GVA).

Numbers like these don’t happen without hard work. To every member of the Matic team on site and in the office, thank you. Your contribution this year has been historic, and the benchmark has been set.

Working alongside our Domis Group partners, we’re looking forward to what comes next.
