  • Above ground drainage, domestic hot & cold water, and LTHW systems
  • Complete HVAC solutions including air conditioning, student room ventilation, and smoke extraction systems
  • Fire protection via wet risers and residential sprinkler systems
  • Thermal insulation throughout for optimal energy efficiency
  • Integrated BMS with field devices, water/air controls, and valves to streamline building management
  • Full electrical works: LV distribution boards, containment, internal and external lighting installation
  • Emergency and security systems including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intercoms, data, and backup power via generator and life safety supplies.

Integrated Fire & Security Systems Delivery at Fusion Manchester

Matic Building Services delivered a coordinated fire safety and security infrastructure at Fusion Manchester, supporting safe, compliant and resilient student living across the development. The scope included smoke control ventilation, life safety and essential power supplies, standby generation, life safety switchboards and automatic transfer systems, helping ensure critical systems remain operational when needed most. This includes dedicated power resilience for smoke extract systems, firefighting lifts and fire pumps, all carefully integrated within the wider MEP installation to support the safety of residents, shared amenity spaces and commercial areas throughout the building.
